Sisters in Spirit Day

October 4 is Sisters in Spirit Day, a day to remember and honour the missing and murdered Indigenous women, girls and Two-Spirit individuals (MMIWG2S+) across Canada and to support their family members, loved ones, and communities.
Artemis Gold’s Blackwater Mine is located in proximity to the Highway of Tears. Along this highway, and in the region, a number of Indigenous and non-Indigenous women have been murdered or gone missing.
We honour and remember them.
