Artemis is listed on the TSX Venture exchange, is a well-financed, growth-oriented gold development company with strong financial capacity aimed at creating shareholder value through the identification, acquisition, and development of gold properties in mining friendly jurisdictions. Artemis, by way of BW Gold, is the proponent of the Blackwater Gold Project in central British Columbia, approximately 160 km southwest of Prince George and 446 km northeast of Vancouver.

You will have the ability to make a significant contribution to the project team as the Company pursues the disciplined development of the Blackwater Project. Blackwater is an advanced-stage development project which received its environmental assessment approvals in 2019 and is proceeding towards permitting, with the goal of commencing major construction in fall 2022. The Company published a Feasibility Study in September 2021 which reflects a 22-year mine life, a low strip ratio of 2:1 and a net present value of C$2.15B at a long-term consensus gold price of US$1,600/oz.

Scope of Responsibilities

Your primary responsibilities will be to provide administrative support to the Vancouver office staff, monitor, order, receive and inventory supplies, provide coverage for the reception, assist with the general office functions like maintaining printers, scanners and similar.

  • Using integrity, confidentiality, and diplomacy provide administrative support to the Vancouver team with various administrative tasks as needed.
  • Prepare and/or validate expense reports ensuring accuracy and compliance to corporate and/or project policies, procedures, and code of ethics.
  • Assist with the personnel travel logistics, rosters, and daily schedules as needed.
  • Assist prepare itineraries for trips and large meetings.
  • Distribute and process incoming and outgoing mail and couriers
  • Perform general office duties to include mail distribution, ordering office supplies, and creating and maintaining department files.
  • Respond appropriately to inquiries and make decisions when necessary.
  • Assist with the production and distribution of the presentation material.
  • Provide daily reception desk coverage
  • Coordinate odd-job requests, repairs, interoffice moves and furniture orders
  • Manage office equipment – photocopiers, printers, shredders, etc.
  • Undertake special assignments as required or as assigned by Management.
  • Ensure the cleanliness and inventory of common office areas - kitchens, copy rooms, supply rooms, and boardrooms
  • Assist in the preparation of meetings and conference calls
  • Verify invoices and compile billings
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Minimum 1 -2 years experience in similar role
  • Attention to accuracy and detail with strong writing and editing / proofreading skills.
  • Intermediate computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Adobe Acrobat
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks
  • Demonstrated attention to detail and task follow through
  • Ability to prioritize, solve problems, and make decisions
  • Strong oral and written communication skills as well as strong listening skills
  • Self-initiative and motivation with an emphasis on client service
  • Team player with the ability to focus on instructions and complete tasks in a safe and timely manner.
