Celebrating National Indigenous History Month

June is National Indigenous History Month in Canada and on June 21st we will celebrate National Indigenous Peoples Day. At Artemis Gold, we are committed to fostering meaningful partnerships with Indigenous communities and creating a workplace that values cultural understanding and inclusion. In recognition of this commitment, we have activities planned to engage, educate, and celebrate together.
Last week Vancouver employees participated in a drum making and cultural workshop facilitated by Alice Guss/Tsawaysia Spukwus, a Squamish First Nation member. The Blackwater Mine team celebrated their first "Bannock Day" - cooking and serving more than 200 pieces of bannock.
